Celebrate Winter

Every year I create a new winter design and add it to my Spoonflower shop. This year we explored the concept of apricity, the warmth of the sun in winter. I created a hand drawn abstract that was reminiscent of ice on a window.

I also ran this design through my processing app to create some new bubble designs, which I added to and made into a seamless repeat. I’m excited to share them with you. Those abstracts are now available at my Spoonflower shop. Shop now for holiday delivery.

Bubbles, Circles and Lines

Snowflakes, soft abstracts, bright holiday patterns and a few goofball designs all available in yardage and Homegoods.

Yart Sale!

UPDATE: The Yart Sale was a lot of fun. Thanks for everyone who stopped by on this sunny day. We raised $300!

Some of the minky and velvet pillows I’ve made for the Yart Sale. Mick and I are raising money for UNICEF and Planned Parenthood. Come haggle with Mick over the weird stuff he’s found… or just say howdy!

New Designs, New Fabrics

It’s steamy out there but I’m trying to stay cool in the studio and have been working on some subtle, classic breezy styles for summer… Wait! who am I kidding!?! I’m creating maximal, over the top patterns that will make you smile and cheer us up! The Y2K revival and 1970s patterns and colors continue to dominate the runway with bold patterns and textures. Next I’ll have to take up crochet.
Here’s a few new designs. Visit my Spoonflower store for yardage.
